Mine took a year to make from start to finish, though I produced a professional (mastered) demo disc half way through. I never believed it would take so long. But isn't it amazing to see the fruits of your labour!? Well done, the samples I've heard sound fantastic! I'm on my way to PayPal to buy the album right after this.
